After having her three beautiful children, Sandeep experienced the challenges of many modern families: managing a demanding career, being a present parent and providing nutritious, homecooked food for her loved ones.

Sandeep was inspired to swap her corporate job for a career in food, sharing her cooking skills and life experience with others in the same situation.

“Whenever I share food with my Grandma, she closes her eyes and says ‘bohut swaad’. It means ‘very tasty’, in Punjabi. When I left my corporate job to start my career in food, I knew Bohut Tasty  was the perfect name for my business. It acknowledges my two passions in life: food and family.”

Sandeep is fuelled by the joy that food brings her, being raised in three diverse cultures, British, Singaporean and Punjabi, which are renowned for bringing people together through food. A self-taught, proud home cook, Sandeep’s exquisite food goes big on taste but easy on effort. She shares simple, effective recipes, techniques and secrets that can be recreated in anyone’s home. 

In 2022, Sandeep debuted her beautiful, purpose-built kitchen in East Finchley, complete with dining area, outdoor space with firepit and all the mod cons.
